Fourth of July in Boca Raton and South Florida

It’s Red, WhiteSparkle Time! Celebrations Happening on the Fourth of July!

Lets start with the Fabulous Fourth Celebration – City of Boca Raton  that starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Countess de Hoernle Park aka Spanish River Athletic Facility  which is just west of I-95 on Spanish River.
Some of us old Boca folks remember when it was at FAU for many many years but this newest location is kid friendly and the fireworks can be seen all over the city! The fireworks start at 9 pm. Celebrate the Fourth of July with presenting sponsor, the Boca Raton Airport, live music and performances, carnival rides, games and crafts, food and drinks, and of course, fabulous fireworks to end the night!
(PS…don’t want to deal with the crowds…last year the Tilted Kilt on Airport Road was the “adulting” place to be for drinks and and the spectacular #SoooBoca celebration!)
Free parking will be plentiful with several nearby public parking lots including Boca Corporate Center with complimentary shuttle service will begin at 5:30pm and run continuously until 10:15pm. Blankets & lawn chairs permitted. Personal fireworks, sparklers, alcohol, and family pets are absolutely prohibited. Admission is FREE. For more information, please call 561.393.7807

We love researching holiday events because we come across things even we #SoooBoca gals are not familiar with and shazaam! There is a FREE event in West Boca at Sunset Cove Amphitheater which is in the South County Regional Park. The West Boca Community Council and the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department put on a this fun July 4th celebration that includes a kids’ fun zone, concessions on site, a welcome booth and interactive prize wheel, live music by The Fabulous Fleetwoods and fireworks. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome.

 4th of July Celebration at Intracoastal Park – Boynton Beach

Boynton Beach has a fun celebration planned at a FREE community event at Intracoastal Park from 6:30 pm to 10 pm. Enjoy live music by the Paradigm Band, family entertainment, food trucks and fun for all!  Bring chairs and blankets. There is limited parking at Intracoastal park; complimentary buses will shuttle from the Ezell Hester Community Center (1901 N. Seacrest Blvd) beginning at 5:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.  The final shuttle picks up from Ezell Hester Community Center at 8:30 p.m.

Delray Beach is kicking of the day with sooo much! Check out this packed schedule of fun in the South Florida sun! Fireworks start at 9 pm from a barge just east of the Marriott! Fourth on Flagler – West Palm Beach

The City of West Palm Beach always has a spectacular Fourth of July celebration and this year it is super special as it is the 30th anniversary of the Fourth of Flagler…and folks this is an all out full day of fun!  Check out this entertainment line up of everything going on for the holiday! The celebration starts on Wednesday, July 4, with “live” music on three stages, a military honor ceremony, Human Foosball and bowling, tons of FREE activities for kids, foodie and drinkie options for all! The fabulous 18-minute fireworks show glittering above the famous Intracoastal Waterway is a sight to see! Activities from 5 pm – 10 pm.

Deerfield Beach Fourth of July Celebration 

Just to the south of Boca the beach celebration continues with fireworks happening at 9 pm. The city of Deerfield Beach has tons happening from music, arts and crafts, food vendors and free shuttles. Check out the link for a schedule of entertainment and information!

Coral Springs Fourth of July Celebration 

Just to the west of #SoooBoca is another fun celebration in Coral Springs. This holiday event features entertainment, crafts for kids, bounce houses and food (for a nominal fee). The fireworks display begins promptly at 9 p.m. Parking is available at the Coral Springs Gymnasium, Mullins Park and the Center for the Art for $3. Mullins Park 1000 Ben Geiger Drive (NW 29th Street).

City of Fort Lauderdale 4th of July Spectacular

The 4th of July Spectacular takes place on July 4 from Noon to 9:30 p.m. on Fort Lauderdale Beach at A1A and Las Olas Boulevard. Kid activities, pie eating contest, beach games, bounce house, face paining and more!  Making Faces hits the stage with their eclectic blend of rock, reggae, and funk at 4:30 pm, Walk of Fame Induction and the ultimate Motown Tribute Band when N2Nation rocks the house from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. Fireworks start at 9 pm and are simulcast with with music on 101.5 LITE FM
