HO HO HO and Happy Holidays! Lets get this Season started!
#SoooBoca’s Five in the Hive +++ list for fun events around beautiful Boca Raton this holiday season!
As summer in Boca Raton slowly comes to a close it doesn’t mean you have to pack up your backpack and hide away your swimsuits! There are a ton of cool things to do around town to wrap up your summer break in style!
Take a step into time and check out one of Boca’s oldest landmarks — the original City Hall where you can find the Boca Raton Historical Society. Built in 1927 this long standing building has seen #SoooBoca grow into one of South Florida’s largest and most popular travel destinations. Between the hours of 10am and 4pm you can catch a guided tour around the hall or you can explore on your own. Curious about the history of not only Boca but IBM…the rooms are full of fun facts and history changing items for you to learn from and see. This sweet piece of history is a prize possession among locals. By the way…if you love wine and food the Boca Bacchanal is one of the Historical Society’s signature events!
Weekends in Mizner Park are always a blast thanks especially with the variety of events always happenin’ in this popular downtown hot spot! Grab a drink with your posse around the park or bring the family down for a night that all can enjoy. This family friendly atmosphere is a great way to shake up the usual summer routine!
Bam…once again a fabulous “collaborative ” effort by multiple Realtors across the country bragging on what they love about their cities! If you love Boca like I love Boca leave a comment, like my page, reach out to me if you want to make a move to my town! Here is my contribution to this fantastic blog.

I’ve had a love affair with Boca Raton since I moved here in 1978 and I am not alone! This city is one of the great loves of my life along with my children, my husband and my dogs. I, also, love the color “pink” which conveniently is one of Boca’s signature colors, and, did you know that the color pink happens to be universal for love ? Isn’t that so romantic, which is so Boca.
Enjoy colorful sunrises, beautiful walks on pristine beaches, date nights at Mizner Park in Downtown Boca, or you can head over to the original “pink plaza” , The Royal Palm Place! Love is always in the air, especially, around Valentines Day, in the city I call my home…beautiful and fabulous Boca Raton.
I don’t know about you but as a busy Realtor with listings and property showings “coffee” is a main food staple for this gal on the go! Sooo…today’s #SoooBoca’s “Five in the Hive” focus is Coffee in Boca! Boca is a mecca for small business owners — this city takes pride in buying local and supporting our neighborhood shops. Of course we enjoy the occasional Starbucks or a quick pit stop at Dunkin’ Donuts, but what we really love is the home brewed stuff. The slow roasted, cozy sitting cup of coffee. That being said, today’s ‘Five in the Hive’ is salutes some of our local coffee shops! This will be on ongoing series so no worries…I will but updating and adding more local coffees spots! Let’s get started exploring the list….!

It is time to breath a bit and hit the beaches and boy do we have amazing beaches in #bocaraton.
I grew up hanging out at Red Rocks (now Red Reef) and still am amazed at the beauty of our local Boca beaches.
From Spanish River Park to Red Reef to the Palmetto Pavilion and county run (yup) South Beach Inlet at Camino Real there are many choices for diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating and of course simply relaxing and building your dream home ie. the sandcastle. There is even a dog friendly beach up at Spanish River Park!
Intertwined with parks that have space to BBQ with picnic tables and playgrounds you can simply take a drive up A1A and pick from a variety of lovely beaches! We are so lucky that the city had the infinite wisdom to protect our miles of beaches here for future generational enjoyment.
We love to go to the beaches no matter what time of year it is. There’s are the surfers, the sailers, the coffee drinkers and the bikers all overlapping and converging on our beautiful beaches. At anytime you can find solace at the beach with the lure of the Atlantic Ocean at your feet. The calm sound of the waves draws you in as you gaze out to the horizon watching birds, fish jump and fishing boats heading out to fish or coming home for the day.
I go back and forth but mainly I love the South County Park beach that is on A1A and Camino.
I love the jetty and the inlet and all the people fishing there. It feels like home to me but any beach in Boca is fabulous so there you have it!

Summer has been abuzz with sales and closings for our clients including having a fabulous buyer for New York Yankee’s Shortstop Bucky Dent’s house in Boynton Beach!

FAQs Answered by the Pros
What steps should I take to prepare my home for sale?
There are several things you need to know before listing your home for sale!
A frequently asked question from home seller’s before listing is what steps should
be taken before listing their home. Not properly preparing a home for sale can
put a home owner at a huge disadvantage.
The expression “You never get a second chance to make a first impression” is absolutely
true when it comes to selling a home. When selling a home you must be sure that
your home presents itself in the best possible light.
Making sure clutter is at a minimum, freshly painting rooms, installing new carpeting,
or ensuring odors are non-existent are just a handful of things that should be done
before listing your home for sale.
Tired of renting? With mortgage ratings going up now is the time to get your ducks
in a row, get a pre-approval and start looking for your dream home or condo!
